PCH Big Sur
Dream drive of many, California's coast-hugging Highway 1 runs all the way from the Canada border in the north to the mexico border in the south and is sure a architecture marvel, so scenic, that a road has become a tourist spot!
Driving Highway 1 means hours cruising along stunning bluffs overlooking the Pacific on one side and towering hills on the other, plus designated vista points for sparkling ocean views. The road reminds of numerous car games which have been set on the PCH

Restless Sea earns its name as one of the most turbulent sections of coastline in Pebble Beach! It was probably not so restless when I was there though!

One of the most photographed trees in North America, the world-famous Lone Cypress has braved the elements atop its rocky pedestal overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
The Big Sur region is a rugged and mountainous section, where the Santa Lucia Mountains rise abruptly from the Pacific Ocean!
Most Instagrammed feature along the Highway 1 coastline is this Bixby bridge! One of the highest bridges of its kind in the world, soars 260 feet above the bottom of a steep canyon carved by Bixby Creek.

Our final stop was the McWay Falls which is a stunning waterfall, dropping some 80 feet onto a pristine beach in an enchanting cove.
